Oasis Sports and Leisure Club Restaurant & Bar Area
The Oasis gym is situated in a pleasant area of Thorpe near Norwich.
There is easy access from the A47 and it is well sign posted.
There is a bar restaurant area, which is very pleasant and the staff were very helpful.
The bar restaurant is a nice area to while away an hour or so either pre gym and or after the gym. There is quite a large menu and the prices are reasonable.
The gym is fairly well equipped with plenty of treadmills, spinning machines, elliptical trainers, free weights and other gym equipment.
We went around midday and the gym was fairly quiet – approximately 10 – 12 people.
Although well equipped and quite large, the gym looked a little bit tatty and in need of some TLC, but then this seems to be normal for this type of old building.
From the gym, we went to the pool area and this was very nice indeed.
The pool area has been revamped recently and out of all the leisure clubs that we have reviewed in Norwich so far, this was the cleanest and the best. There is also a nice large hot tub between the pools with swirling water, which is great for relaxing in after the gym.
Overall this is a pleasant health club with some character, but as with most of the leisure clubs we have reviewed so far some of the corridors and shower areas in the changing rooms could be greatly improved.

As a first time visitor to the Oasis Healthclub, I agree with some of your comments. The Club is situated in a nice location with a well equiped gym etc etc. Whilst the swimming area was very pleasant I found the changing area and showering facilities really dire. The floor was wet and slippery and the changing area was cold, tatty and outdated.
A visit to the Cafe afterwards was a welcome comfort!
